Lillian H. McGovern

AGE: 85 • Bridgewater

Lillian H. McGovern passed away peacefully on Nov. 29, 2014 at Arbor Glen in Bridgewater. She was 85. Born and raised in Jersey City, she lived in Saddle Brook for over 25 years and then Bedminster for over 20 years. Mrs. McGovern was a homemaker. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and gardening and cherished time with her family. Mrs. McGovern was a longtime parishioner of St. Brigid and St. Elizabeth Parish in Peapack and Far Hills.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Donald, and two sons: Patrick and his wife Debra of New Providence and Michael and his wife Diane of Bridgewater. She is also survived by her five grandchildren: Caitlin, Kevin, Kyle, Erin and Kayla McGovern.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec 3, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 176 Main St., Peapack. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, Dec 4, 2014 at St. Brigid Church Peapack at 10am. Entombment at St. Bernard's Cemetery, Bridgewater. For those desiring, donations to the Alzheimer's Association in her memory would be appreciated. www.baileyfuneral.com
