Linda Krizan Obituary
AGE: 75 • Bridgewater
Bridgewater, NJ - Linda L. Krizan, 75, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, November 10, 2017. Born in Plainfield to the late Norman and Leona (Houston) Tier, Linda grew up and raised her family in North Plainfield and settled to Bridgewater twenty-two years ago.
Linda retired from Runnells Specialized Hospital in Berkeley Heights where she spent many years employed as a Registered Nurse. She had a love for the Bible and often read each and every day. Active with the Stonecrest Community Church in Warren, Linda loved her church family and enjoyed her time in Bible study.
She had a love for her close friends, especially her high school friends who stayed close throughout the years. Linda made a weekly routine of meeting friends for breakfast and dinner at their favorite local restaurants.
In her earlier years, she was an avid bowler and belonged to several leagues, enjoyed gambling in Atlantic City, baking, doing crossword puzzles, watching soap operas, especially Young and the Restless. Above all things, Linda's love for her family was second to none and she enjoyed all her time spent with her cherished grandchildren.
Linda leaves behind her loving and devoted family; husband Thomas whom celebrated fifty-two years of marriage, sons James of Washington Township and Joseph and his wife Stacey of Bridgewater and daughter Kathleen Yates and her husband Scott also of Bridgewater. Linda will be missed by her five grandchildren; Katrina and Tyler Yates and Logan, Dylan and Brooke Krizan along with her sister Laurie Miller and her husband Bill of Florida.
A memorial gathering celebrating Linda's life will be held in McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 10am until the religious service beginning at noon. Mausoleum entombment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always. My brothers and I have great memories, as youngsters, of coming to visit "Aunt" Linda - one of my late mother Peggy's oldest and dearest friends.
Our condolences also go to her loving husband, Tom. I am sure she and my mother are in heaven now, Uncle Tom!
