Lucia Ramos Obituary
Perth Amboy - Lucia Ivette Ramos, 66 of Perth Amboy, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 at theVenetian Care & Rehabilitation Center South Amboy.
Lucy was born in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico, she came to the Bronx, then Chicago and then to Perth Amboy 59 years ago. She was employed by Dr. Porecha, DMD, Perth Amboy for many years. She retired in 1997. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church, also a Eucharistic Minister, Lecture, and a CCD teacher. She was a member of the Pepino Club, past president of the Perth Amboy Catholic School PTA, a volunteer of the Perth Amboy Little league and a avid bowler. She loved spending time with family and friends and especially she loved to cook.
She is preceded in death by her devoted husband, Santos "Tito" Ramos, who passed away in 2016; loving daughter of Israel and Lucia ( nee Torres ); dear sister of Israel, Henry, Luis and Alcides Vasquez.
Lucy is survived by her beloved sons Luis E., Richard and Katy and Alexsandro Ramos; loving sister of Wisdael and his wife Evelyn, Sadot, Ivy Vasquez and Julia Figueroa; adored grandmother of Jordyn, Olivya, Jazmin & LJ; cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews.
We begin to leave on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 9:15 am from the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy for a Funeral Mass at 10 am at the Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish at Our Lady of Hungary Church. Interment will follow at Alpine Cemetery. Visiting is on Monday from 2 ~ 4 & 7 ~ 9 pm.
