LYNN MUCCILLI
AGE: 72 WOODBRIDGE
Lynn E. Runkel Muccilli, 72, of Woodbridge, N.J., died peacefully Monday, December 13, 2010 at Haven Hospice, JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Elizabeth, N.J., she lived in Laurence Harbor and Colonia before moving to Woodbridge proper where she lived most of her life. She was a graduate of Woodbridge High School and retired from United Airlines in 1997 as an administrative assistant. Prior to United, she worked in Carteret for a division of Alcan Aluminum for 17 years. Lynn was an ordained elder at the First Presbyterian Church of Woodbridge where she served as a member of the Session and as a youth group leader. She was also a certified Notary Public. Lynn was formerly active in the Red Hat Society and the Avenel Fire Co. #1 Auxiliary. She was a member of the Golden Gals and Guys from The Club at Woodbridge and also a member of the Senior Strength Circuit Class there. She was also a former Girl Scout leader for her niece. Lynn loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren, cooking, baking cookies, playing games and making crafts. She loved to collect dolls and Christmas ornaments and always found time to read, another favorite pastime.
She is predeceased by her parents Earl A. Runkel and Evelyn Sutter Runkel. She is survived by her husband Anthony S. Muccilli; her son, Jeffrey S. Muccilli of Fords, his wife Maria and grandchildren, Francesca and Joseph; her son Keith A. Muccilli of Kingwood, his partner Natalie Herman and grandson, Benjamin Herman; her brother Earl A. Runkel II of Avenel and wife Marge; her niece Cheryl Runkel Raike of Keansburg and husband Brian, and nephews, Jonathan Runkel and Earl A. Runkel III, both of Avenel. Flowers are welcome but the family would like to suggest a donation to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers: American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718
Visitation will be at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green St. Woodbridge on Tuesday, December 14 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 15, leaving from the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home at 9:15am for a service at the First Presbyterian Church of Woodbridge at 600 Rahway Ave. in Woodbridge.

Thanks, Lynn, for being such a good friend to me when I first moved to Woodbridge. I really missed you when you weren't in the waterworks class (and Dennis's You're late, Lynn!).

I'm glad I got to celebrate Lynn & Tony's 50th? anniversary with them and their family. Lynn loved having her grandchildren around. She was a real people person.

God bless and keep Tony and the rest of her family.
