Margaret Corrigan Obituary
AGE: 82 • Sayreville
Margaret Corrigan age 82 of the Parlin section of Sayreville passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 29, 2015 at Summer Hill Nursing Home, Old Bridge. Born in Brooklyn Margaret has resided in Sayreville for over 54 years. Margaret was very generous with her time and was a member of the Sayreville Seniors Tuesday Club, VFW ladies Auxiliary and volunteered at Rachel House in South Amboy. Mrs. Corrigan was devoted to her parish, Sacred Heart where she was an Eucharistic Minister, member of the Sacred Heart prayer group and St. Vincent de Paul Society. Margaret also loved bowling and playing and calling bingo.
Margaret is predeceased by her husband Francis P Corrigan and her 8 brothers and sisters. Surviving are her children John Corrigan, Linda O'Kelly, Monica Corrigan and her fiancé Wayne Palermo and William F Corrigan, her grandchildren Melissa and her husband James Fulton, Meagan O'Kelly, Nicholas O'Kelly, Ryan O'Kelly and his wife Tonya, her great grandchildren James Fulton, Sydney Fulton and Riley O'Kelly, her sister Maryellen and her husband Artie Beaumont, her brother Joseph and his wife Cookie Weihs and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 8:30am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin followed by a 9am funeral mass being offered at Sacred Heart, South Amboy with burial to follow at sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Monday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Letters of condolence may be sent to the family at www.spezzifuneralhome.com

Just heard of Marge's passing today at mass. So sorry to hear this news. We co-facilitated the bereavement group at Sacred Heart for many years together. Marge had a heart of gold and will truly be missed. Thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. May she rest in peace.
