AGE: 93 • Kitty Hawk, NC, formerly of Perth Amboy
Mary Badida (nee Corej), 93, of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, formerly of Perth Amboy, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2013 at the Sentara Nursing Center, Barco, North Carolina. Mary was born in Czechoslovakia, and she came to Spangler, Pennsylvania in 1945, then to Perth Amboy in 1950 and has lived in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina for the last 10 years. She was a member of the Rosary Society in St. Nicholas Church of the Byzantine Rite, Perth Amboy.
She is preceded in death by her devoted husband, Nicholas Badida who passed away in 1998. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Ronald Burgess; adored grandmother of Bradford Burgess, Nicole Smith; cherished great - grandmother of Samantha Lauren Smith, Betty and Brady Burgess.
We will begin to leave on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 10:15 am from the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy for a Divine Liturgy at 10:30 am at the St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Perth Amboy. Burial will be at St. Nicholas Cemetery. Visiting is Friday from 9 ~ 10 am.

I work at Sentara Mrs. Badida will be missed! I will never forget her. I love her as I do my own grandmother. I know she is up in Heaven smiling down at us.
