Mrs. Dibling was my 8th grade teacher at Sacred Heart elementary back in 1977. To say this women had an impact on me would be an understatement.
I was a lazy student who was more interested in fooling around than learning. It had been that way for me until I met Mrs. Dibling.
She had an ability to be extremely professional , firm and witty and apply those characteristics to her lesson plan that made learning interesting. She knew how to engage me and draw me in. She treated her class like young men and women and not kids.
She was an amazing teacher and role model.
I often look back at my life and I can pinpoint exactly where I made the turn and became a responsible student and man and its when I met Mrs. Dibling.
Old school.... She taught, led and change the trajectory of students life's by being a invested teacher.
God bless you Mrs . Dibling!
