MARY F. WALUS LASKO
AGE: 92 PERTH AMBOY
Mary F. Walus Lasko, 92, of Perth Amboy, died Friday, Feb. 13, 2009, at St. Joseph's Nursing Home, Woodbridge. Born in Perth Amboy, she was a lifelong resident. She was employed by Westinghouse, Edison as an assembler for over 12 years. She retired many years ago. Mary was an active member and communicant of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, a member of the Holy Trinity Seniors and the Altar Rosary Society and Lyceum Club and enjoyed life.
She was predeceased by her husband, Michael, who died in 1991; her son, Allen Lasko, who died in 1985; her parents, Joseph and Jadwiga Walusik Walus; and two brothers, Edward and Alexander Walusik. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Bernadine of Cliffwood Beach, and Edward and Bette Lasko of Toms River; She was the adored grandmother of Michele, Michael, Andrew, David, and Melodie Lasko; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009 at the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay St., Perth Amboy. We will begin to leave at 8:45 a.m. Monday, Feb. 16, 2009 from the funeral home for a 9:15 a.m. Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity R.C. Church. Interment will take place at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
