MARYAM PLEASANT
AGE: 50 SHAWNEE ON THE DELAWARE, PA.
Maryam Pleasant, 50, died Monday (Oct. 27, 2008) at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem, Pa.
Born in Jersey City, she was a resident of Shawnee on the Delaware, Pa., for eight years. She was formerly of Edison.
She was employed as a data entry technician for the Bank of New York for nine years.
She was a devoted member of the New Life in Christ Regional Worship Center in New Brunswick for 25 years.
She was predeceased by her mother, Lorraine Miah. Surviving are her husband, Steven Pleasant; a son, Craig Jordon Pleasant; daughters, Jabada K. Pleasant-Schofield (Christopher) and Amanda D. Pleasant; her father, Abdulla Miah; a brother, Jafar Miah (Anna), 12 grandchildren, and a host of loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, at Abundant Life Family Worship Center, 259 George St., New Brunswick. Visitation will be 5-6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, at the church.
