AGE: 40 ? Edison

Melanie (Tarnowski) Glasson was a beautiful girl and a wonderful person who was taken from us much too early. She was a resident at Roosevelt Care Center in Edison, NJ for almost 8 years; she was only 40 years old. Melanie was an avid outdoors woman, and she had a real passion for her family and friends, also her pets. She had a huge heart and would do anything she could to help others. She was a graduate of Woodbridge High School and the Cittone Institute in Woodbridge. Melanie was an executive assistant for Federal Express in New York City for 10 years and Omne Staffing in Cranford for two and a half years,

She was predeceased by her mother Patricia (Kinneavy) Tarnowski in 2004, and grandmothers Catherine Kinneavy and Mary Tarnowski. Surviving are her devoted father Eugene W. Tarnowski Sr. of Fords, brother Eugene W. Tarnowski Jr. of Fords, sisters Michele Misak of Fords and Maureen Weidele and husband Art of Charlotte, NC, also nieces Chelsie Weidele Brines and Samantha Weidele, nephews Griffin Weidele, Dylan, Sean and Bryce Tarnowski. She will be greatly missed and memories of her will always be cherished. Your suffering is over, rest in peace, you sweet little angel.

Visiting hours are 2-4, 7-9 PM Tuesday February 22, 2011 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue Fords, NJ, Funeral Services will begin Wednesday February 23, 2011 at 10:00AM at the funeral home, Funeral Liturgy 10:30AM at Our Lady of Peace Church, interment St. Gertrude Cemetery. Dear Melanie,
We're Sorry we never got to meet you but our Mommy (Kathleen Dudash) always would talk about you & All the Fun you & her had together. She told us some funny stories & what a Best friend you were to her. We saw her cry many times over u while u were sleeping. We are sad too but are Happy you are with YOUR Mommy and God now. Now you can run & Dance around like u used to with our Mom.

To the Tarnowski family, I send my deepest sympathies to you all. I had graduated with Melanie at Woodbridge, and her and I always got along well. I was shocked and saddened by her passing. I hope you all in time can find peace and comfort in all the memories that you hold.
