I am proud to have called Mike my friend for over 40 years. He still is and will be until we meet again. He told me I was his best friend the last time we saw each other; and although God can take him from me, he can't take away those words. I am so lucky to have had him in my life and cherish our time together. He was a true brother.

My heart goes out to Barbara, Bobby and most importantly Mikie. Mike never spoke negatively about others. His character spoke for itself. I admired his positive attitude, love of life, animals and the outdoors. Rest In Peace Mike.

We became friends late in life, but it was very important to me when I saw you, spoke to you and spent time with you.

Your love of your son and dogs will always be my best memories of you.

Every time I open a Heineken and have a Slim Jim I will think of you!

RIP my friend, you are loved and missed.

May God wrap his arms around your soul and make you whole again and give your family the strength to get through this difficult time. I will always remember our young boys playing with BB guns on your garage, the slip n' slide, our cookouts, the road trip we took to Richmond, the dive bar we stopped at, and Craig's list ads. So many great memories I love you, rest in peace my friend❤

Mike Botis was an awesome high level, white water paddler and always up for an adventure on the river. He would be so proud to see his son, Mike, achieving Eagle Scout in a few weeks.
