Michael Lykosh Obituary
AGE: 66 • Morgan
Michael Lykosh, Jr., 66, of the Morgan section of Sayreville died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014 at his home in Port Saint Lucie, Florida surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Perth Amboy, he has lived in Morgan for the past 36 years. He served in the Air National Guard from 1969-1977. He was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners Union Local #254, formerly Union Local #65 in Perth Amboy. Before retiring, he was employed for 17 years as a Construction Supervisor at All American Contracting Corporation in Edgewater, NJ.
Son of the late Michael and Mary Ann Wolowicz (Volovich), he is survived by his wife of 43 years, Denise Durko Lykosh; his sons, L. Joseph Lykosh and his wife, Allison, of Kansas City, MO, and Mitchell Lykosh of Morgan; his sister, Geraldine Hudzik of Arizona and his two granddaughters, Jillian and Alyssa Lykosh.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 9:45am from The Gundrum Service "Home For Funerals," 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by a 10:30am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church, South Amboy. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
