Michael Shomsky

Carteret - Michael Shomsky 93, of Carteret, died on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at home. He was born in Perth Amboy and was a life-long resident of Carteret. He retired from G.A.F. in Wayne, as a Chemist. Michael was a member of the Carteret Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2314. He loved Roller Blading, sports of all kinds, except the Yankees.

He is predeceased by his wife, Marion; son, Gary and brothers, Bill and Joseph. Michael is survived by his children, Karen and husband, Steven, Michael and wife, Kristin and Robin and husband Bryan; four grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and his sister, Marguerite.

Private Services were held under the care of Synowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Avenue in Carteret.
