Mitchell Eugene Morris

Mitchell Eugene Morris, 42, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 17, 2021.

Mitchell was born June 21, 1979, in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He attended schools in Piscataway, Bridgewater and Warren, before living in Florida for many years.

Mitchell was a remarkable athlete he played Little League Pop Warner football and soccer while in elementary and middle school and football in High School. Mitchell started his career path in sales at Team Auto and later as an independent contractor. He recently started a new career in solar energy and was currently in training. Mitchell was an avid fisherman, he especially loved Florida fishing. He also enjoyed traveling with his brother and father. Mitchell would help anyone in need; he had a heart of gold and was always making friends with everyone he came across. He adored the company of his family and friends and was loved by each one of them.

Mitchell was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Walter Morris, and Eugene McElroy.

He is survived by his loving parents, Noreen McElroy-Morris of Asbury Park; and Mitchell M. Morris of West Palm Beach Florida; his brother, Justin Morris of West Palm Beach Florida; his grandmothers, Joy Morris and Elizabeth Barrett ; his Aunts, Mary McElroy-Hermes and her husband Jihad of Virginia, Patricia Morris of NJ, Kathleen Morris of NJ, and Diane McLain and her husband Dan of Florida; his uncles, Gene McElroy of NJ, Kevin McElroy of Philadelphia, Frank and his husband Gene Marrano of Brooklyn and Richard Morris and his wife Gina of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Trever, Gavin, and Alivia; cousins, Crystal, Melissa, Leila, Nora, Farrah, Erin, Billy, Bryan, and Alyssa; his lifelong best friends, Cindy Hisko and Gina Hector and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will begin at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, August 26th at the Gleason Funeral Home. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
