MURIEL H. KEEFE
AGE: 82 MANASQUAN
Muriel H. Keefe, 82, of Manasquan, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 23, 2010, in Wall, with her family by her side. Born and raised in Lyndhurst, she moved to East Rutherford in 1949 upon marrying Arthur Keefe. In 1956, they moved to Manasquan to establish their family home. Muriel was a longtime volunteer and fundraiser for the Deborah Hospital Foundation and member of the Manasquan Library Auxiliary.
She is predeceased by her parents, William Sr. and Gertrude Hauck; and her sister, Arlene Gow. She leaves her beloved husband of 61 years, Arthur; her sister, Dolores LaVance of Spring Lake; brother, William Hauck Jr. of Naples, Fla.; two sons, James of Allentown, Pa., and Kevin of Manasquan; two daughters, Janeen of Andover, and Karen of Manasquan; and her six grandchildren, Kristyn, Amanda, Katie, Sean, Brianna, and Michael. Also surviving are many beloved nieces and nephews and their families.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, June 27 at Neary-Quinn Funeral Home, 39 South St., Manasquan. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 28 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls. Memorial contributions to Deborah Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box 820, Browns Mills, NJ 08015-0820, and Manasquan First Aid, 65 Broad St., Manasquan, NJ 08736. My dear friend Janeen,Mr. Keefe,Jim,Kevin and Karen We are so very sorry to hear of Mrs. passing. I remember her fondly as I spent many times at your home.
