AGE: 27 • Forked River
Nickolas Wade Moyer, 27, of Forked River died suddenly Friday June 7, 2013. He is survived by his loving partner Candice Stuckey, his son Aydan R. Moyer, his sister Kara L. Moyer, his parents Robert and Ann Moyer and his maternal grandmother Barbara DiGangi. Nickolas was a 2004 graduate of Lacey Township High Scholl and a 2009 graduate of Rutgers State University. Nickolas was employed as a Case Manager of Advanced Health and Education, Eatontown, NJ. Nickolas was a kind and caring person who enjoyed helping people. He received great joy from simple pleasures such as fishing, playing paintball and spending time with his family.
Visitation will be Monday, June 10, 2013, from 2-4 & 7-9 at the Layton's Home For Funerals, Forked River. A funeral service will be held during the Monday evening visitation at 8:30 pm. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations to his son's Aydan Educational Fund would be appreciated. C/O Kara Moyer, 2424 Phillips Road, Forked River, NJ, 08731

Niccccckkkkkyyyy Moooooyyyyeeeerrrr. Every single time I said your name like that, we would spend an endless amount of time giggling like children...for absolutely no reason at all. We were blissfully silly and laughter was the main nutrient used to feed our friendship daily. Your smile...our corny jokes... I miss you Nicky. I will miss you forever until I see you again one day. Rest in eternity. I know that you were loved here on this earth, and you are loved now with our father in heaven. I can't forget the time when I made you spaghetti (West Indian style). You wolfed it down in seconds before saying "What is this?" ...followed by my response "Uh, that was spaghetti "... followed by even more laughter. Our paths crossed when we both needed laughter...and a friend. It was an honor to be your friend. Rest easy sweet child of God. Best roomy ever. Love you always Nadine

The last memory I have of Nick was at my wedding as well. He truly was the life of the party but he also made sure my day was perfect. I remember walking into the venue and there was Christmas decorations still but and the manager telling me they had to stay. I know it sounds silly but I was devastated. It was not my vision for that day. I remember nick looking at me and saying I got this. Next thing I knew the decorations were coming down and he hugged me. He was such a kind soul. He will forever be missed.

I'll never forget a sweet memory when Nick and Chris were 4 or 5 playing in the backyard taking turns playing with the bubble mower, running as fast as they could to get as many bubbles in the air. They loved that thing!

I have many fond memories of that sweet young boy when he was very young, but one very special memory I have of him is when he was a grown man and came out to Idaho to attend his cousin (my daughter's) Ashley's wedding. He was the life of the event! He ensured everyone had a great time at the reception by impromptu becoming the dancing coordinator. When the song "Soldier Boy" came on he was out there dancing like a pro to it then proceeded to teach everyone the dance. While I didn't have the opportunity to visit with him much, I will cherish the memories I have of him. Such a fun loving young man! I miss his smile and humor.

When Nickolas was very young, just beyond his toddler years, he'd call me 'Daddy' in his quiet, soft, earnest voice. I never heard that kind of emotion in anyone but Nick. When I put him to bed, I'd sing his favorite songs while holding him. When I was done, he'd always say 'sing it again'. And I would, until he fell asleep. I want to see him again. I want to sing to him again.

I knew nick through our moms who were friends! Some of my best memories with nick include swimming at the ocean, and digging holes so deep our moms always said we'd dig to China. Nick was a huge part if my childhood and I'm grateful for that

7 years, Wow!!!!!!! The world's light became a little dimmer the day you left us. My favorite thing about you was your smile. It was a smile that could light up the darkest of rooms and went perfectly with your sense of humor and laughter. You are greatly missed Nick. We take a little bit of solace in the fact that you, Eric and Matt are together despite the fact that we all wish you were down here with us still making us laugh and sharing life with us. Watch over all of us and don-'t be afraid to visit us once in awhile. We will know it is you.
