Nicole Linsalata Obituary
AGE: 22 • River Vale
Nicole Marie Linsalata, 22, of River Vale, NJ, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013. Loving daughter of Joseph and Ellen Linsalata, beloved sister of Allison and Michael and his wife Allyson, cherished grandniece of Sister Ellen Ryan, loving granddaughter of the late Grace Caska. Nicole also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Nicole was a 2010 graduate of Pascack Valley High School and a graduate of the Capri Institute. She was a hair stylist at Lather Lounge Salon in Ramsey, NJ. Nicole loved spending time with her friends and family and her two favorite dogs Buster and Milo. Nicole was a beautiful person inside and out that radiated any room that she walked into. She will be greatly missed by many. We love her with all of our hearts.
The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ www.becker-funeralhome.com on Sunday, November 24th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Funeral Liturgy will be at Church of the Assumption, Emerson, NJ, on Monday, November 25th at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ.

I've called Nicole a friend since Kindergarten, but the first real memory was from the fourth grade. Nicole came into school with a dog bite on her cheek, and I had to convince her every day for a month that "it doesn't look so bad, I promise". Even a swollen face couldn't hide her infectious smile. I will never forget the silliness on car rides home from school in the green van, or battling our way through pronunciations in French class. I am forever grateful for the positive role she played in my life growing up. Nicole will always be part of my fond River Vale memories, and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers every day.
