Patricia Truchanovicz Obituary
AGE: 57 • Woodbridge
Patricia Ann Holt -Truchanovicz, 57, of Woodbridge, passed away Friday, April 8, 2011 at home. Mrs. Truchanovicz was born in New Brunswick to the late Everett and the late Ruby Day Holt and had lived all of her life in Woodbridge. She was employed by Shop Rite in Woodbridge for eight years before retiring in 2008, previously she worked for the Frog Pond and Changes in Woodbridge Center Mall.
She was predeceased by her first husband Johnny Prokopiak and a brother Michael Holt. She is survived by her loving husband, of seventeen years, Benjamin Truchanovicz and beloved cat Rocki, her brother Roger Holt of Edison, her sister Diana and her husband Alan Walkowitz of Edison, stepchildren John, Emily and her husband Ray, niece Pamela and her husband Jerry, nephews Jay, Ken and his wife Stephanie, Bobby, Mikey Holt, father in law Adam Prokopiak and family, thirteen grand nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 10:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery in Metuchen. Visitation hours will be held Tuesday from 9:00 am till time of Service. Patty requested only spring flowers no roses.

Dear Aunty Patty, my favorite Aunt, no other will compare to you. Laughing together at my brothers summer party while his band played bout our letters we shared our sleepovers n those scratch n sniff stickers and Jeff suits. Modeling judging, and keansburg fun, you n uncle johnny brought me such joy as a child. Then, you n Ben visiting me driving all threw rt 9 from A.C. The memories I will forever cherish, are priceless. You enjoyed your life, and taught me so much. You went on and you where very strong and I will miss you so much. You will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you, Ben for loving my Aunt with pure love and taking great care of her.

I had the extreme pleasure of having Patty as my Aunt. She was always so full of life, which she enjoyed to the fullest. We spent time recently on a camping trip were we got a chance to get to know each other again. She loved to fish and that's what we did. She taught me to be grateful for each moment and to enjoy your family and friends. Each day is a gift and I will miss her very much. I love you Patty....forever.
