Not sure what to say?

November 26, 2010

Dear Joe and family,
Having been a neighbor for so many years , we were shocked to learn of Pat's illness and death. We remember the good times we had; the coffee meetings while our children played, going to the pool in the summer, and the birth of our youngest where we woke you all up , Franz took the mattress across the street and left our oldest daughter to your care. We also remember the medical aid that Pat so generously shared. The one that stands out is how Pat cared for Karl's finger when it was accidently cut by my knife. I ran across the street to Pat who lovingly and patiently "fixed" it . She had strength, courage, patience, the gift of laughter . We will remember her for these characteristics. Her life was short, but well spent . She lives through our memories and through her spouse and children, and grandchildren. We wish you all the comfort of knowing that life has not ended, only changed. All our love , Franz and Ada Schneider

This is Dr. Leopold, I worked with Pat for 7 years at BMS, I was shocked and deeply remorseful to hear the news of Pat's passing, and extend my sympathies to the entire family for such a difficult loss. My thought are with you at this time. Pat was always upbeat and dedicated and full of integrity and a true professional in addition to being a nice person and it is very sad for me to hear this news. God Bless you and Pat.

Just stunned to hear this horrible news about Patti - although we haven't seen any of the Crowley's for years, that does not take away the joyous memories of dancing in the Byrne's basement or seeing Patti come home from nursing school to be entertained in the Crowley's kitchen. May she rest in peace and enjoy the tea party with Anne and Margaret :)
