Today, just by chance, I learned of the passing of Paul. He and I were very good friends in high school and both graduated in 1981, we were on the track team and ran the 440 and mile relay together. I lost touch with him as we eventually parted ways to go to college and move on with our respective lives. I moved to Piscataway NJ in the early 1990s. I tried to look him up on social media through the years but always figured "I'll get ahold of him eventually". On June 12th, my wife and I just happened to stop in the Old Bridge Diner and just heard some folks talking about Cedar Ridge and the class of '81 and decided to join the conversation. I mentioned his name and the fact that I had always wanted to get back in touch with him, and this is when I received the very sad news. It was just a few days too late. Never put off to tomorrow what you really should do today. Rest in peace my friend...and may God look after your family.
