AGE: 34 OLD BRIDGE
Peter Edward Tevis III, 34, of Old Bridge died on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008, at home.
The loving son of Katherine and Peter, he was known as PJ and born in Jersey City.
He was raised in Old Bridge. He graduated from Madison Central High School in 1992 and attended courses at Brookdale Community College. Peter was a skilled mechanic and laborer but specially loved motorcycles. His long pony tail tangling from his helmet will be deeply missed from the neighborhood.
Peter was predeceased by his grandparents, Peter E. Tevis Sr. and Nicholas and Mary Fedak.
He is survived by his loving parents, Katherine and Peter Tevis of Old Bridge; a loving grandmother, Lillian Tevis of Old Bridge; a loving sister, Kori and brother-in-law, Ray Totten; a nephew, Grant and niece, Jordon, of Old Bridge; a loving brother and sister, Michael and Selena of Howell. He is also survived by an aunt, Maureen Frendak and her family; Uncle Frank Tevis and his wife Barbara, of Marlboro; Aunt Patty Ziemba and her husband, Walter, of Manchester; Aunt Dory Trackewicz of Bayonne, and Aunt Robin Corio and her husband, Michael, of Old Bridge. PJ will also be dearly missed by numerous cousins and their families.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Sunday at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Route 9, Old Bridge, NJ 08857. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
