Phillip O'Connor Obituary

Phillip L. O'Connor, Jr.

Highland Park - Philip L. O'Connor, Jr., 58, of Highland Park, died on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at RWJUH in New Brunswick.

Born in Perth Amboy, he grew up in Iselin & moved to Highland Park in 2012. He loved to fish and watch football, especially the Dallas Cowboys. His favorite phrase was "You Can't Hurt Steel".

He is predeceased by his parents, Philip & Anna.

He is survived by his three sisters, Eileen Parks & her husband Jimmy of Colonia, Elizabeth O'Connor & her fiancé James Herrick of White Haven, PA, & Regina LeRolland & her husband Dion of Cliffwood Beach; & 5 nieces & nephews, Michael, James, Christopher, Michelle & Regina.

A visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 from 4 - 6:30 pm with a Funeral Service at 6:30 pm at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 1225 Green St & Cooper Ave, Iselin. Cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Philip's family.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
