Ralph I. Sonnenberg

AGE: 91 • Somerville

Ralph I. Sonnenberg, 91, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012. Ralph was born in New York, NY and resided in Somerville since 1958 before moving to Bridgewater in 2009. He was employed as a manager of the record department at Ostro's in Somerville for several years. He then worked for AT & T Longlines in Bedminster as a clerk and retired in 1990. He was a member of Temple Sholom in Bridgewater and past president of the BNAI B'RITH Somerset/Hunterdon Lodge #2680. He volunteered for over 12 years at Somerset Medical Center and the Somerset County Food Bank. He enjoyed reading, walking, listening to classical music and was a history enthusiast.

He is predeceased by his wife, Gertrud who died in 2003. Surviving are his daughter, Francie R. Williams; a sister, Shirley Yzaguirre; grandson, Eric S. Williams and wife Adela, and one great-granddaughter, Amanda Williams, and a nephew, Charles Adler and his wife Cindy.

Funeral Services will be 10am Friday at Temple Sholom, 594 No. Bridge St., Bridgewater. Interment will follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin. Arrangements by Bruce C.
