The Community Room at the Hanson Building that was dedicated to you, had been renovated. Your plaque to my dismay was not rehung when the job was completed. I don´t attend many of the festivities held there, but the last one I did, staff from the Housing Authorities noticed it was missing. It reappeared suddenly and was hung back in its rightful place. It was in a closet in the room. Rest In Peace Ritchie and hope you´re playing cards with my Dad in Heaven

Still miss you Uncle Tony. I have many special memories of you and would love to have another time of discussion with you. The first thing I'd ask is how did you retire at such a young age and what did you do to stay busy in those retirement years? :-) Rest in peace Uncle - by now you and your brothers have all found each other once again and are probably still giving your sisters a rough time. :-)

Uncle "Tony" was a WWII vet who fought his way across the South Pacific and was at Pearl Harbor when it was attacked. He was one of the lucky ones who came home to live a full life. We should never forget MEN like Richard Cavallero who fought so we could live free. You were a good man Uncle Tony and will be missed by all.
Rest in peace, nephew Robert Zega

Dear Richie my dad,Anthony will miss your card playing and the trips to AC and of course the many wonderful parties you planned at the Hansen building. Two WWII veterans had a lot to talk about. It's so hard to see the "Real Men" leave this earth and we will surely miss him.He was so very proud of his grandchildren. RIP PURPLE HEART VETERAN!
