I used to write for the Bayshore Independent (local newspaper) and Richard Wolfe always gave us a good interview! I was going through my old papers today and came across the postcard.

Dear Stacey and Alan,
Dick and I were saddened to learn about your Dad's passing. I remembered when Alan, my "ex.", worked closely with him on the Matawan Bi-centennial Commission in 1976, as well as my current husband's friendship with him as neighbors on Warren Drive! Our sympathies go out to you both, as well as Brian and his wife, and your Mother and children.
Love,
Lois and Dick Stein(Whiting, N.J.)

A wonderful human being who exemplified a generation that just might no longer exist. Warm, witty, and full of energy, Uncle Richard knew the meaning of hard work and love of family. May he rest in God's love.
