Shirley,

Robin and I are so sorry to hear of Pastor Bob’s passing and we extend our sympathies to the entire Bashioum family.

We began coming to Cranford Alliance shortly after my conversion in 1990; what an exceptional example of a Godly man he provided during those formative years!

Have been praying for Pastor Bob and family and will continue to keep Shirley and family in our prayers. Praise God he no longer suffers in pain but glories in our Lord and Savior and we are assured we will all meet again.

I would like to share some thoughts & memories of Bob and his loving kindness he had shown and given to me. He always had a gentle quality about him - I could hear love in his voice no matter who he was speaking to. At first, I did not know that he was a Pastor but, then when I found out... I knew he was chosen by God because God knew his heart. Bob's heart was evident to me as we prayed as a group and studied God's word together. Ever so lovingly Bob spoke - it was his choice of words and how gently he expressed his love of our Savior, Jesus. He expressed scriptures so readily & lovingly. I loved to be in our small group with Bob and Shirley. I felt moved by the spirit of God, as we shared our small group time in the reading of God's word, in prayer and in sharing a meal together. I felt I'd learned so much however, brief... I was always hoping for another chance to experience his Christ-like resemblance and presence... his faith was unshakable and outstanding. Oh how he shined and never doubted God's provision. Though are time in small group was too brief - I am so glad God blessed me in getting to know Bob and Shirley. I thank God for each time that we had in fellowship of our Loving Heavenly Father. One day I found myself in need, my small group asked if someone could go to help and he came to help right away... I was so touched by his ready caring and loving response and the quickness of it. It was immediate, the response. Bob came bringing bags of groceries which he thoughtfully choose so lovingly at the grocery store. I couldn't miss the love - coming down from our heavenly Father. Oh how God delivered and Bob just let the Lord pour out his amazing love to me & my family through Bob, himself. Sounds simple, but, for me it was huge. I felt the hand and love of God through Bob. I've been blessed by knowing Bob. Rest in peace dear Brother until we meet again.
