My Uncle Bob was a constant in my life of changes. Always there would be that beguiling and cheerful smile with the twinkle of blue eyes to warm the heart. When, as an adult, I was asked to refer to him as Bob, no longer Uncle Bob, I found it difficult to do so. Somehow, the status of Uncle gave familiarity and comfort to me when we spoke or communicated through the mail. His children are now fatherless; I know, however, that the guidance Uncle Bob gave his children remains paramount in their daily lives; thus his legacy has been well-established.
