Robert L. DePalma

AGE: 69 • Monroe

Robert L. DePalma, 69, died on September 4, 2013 at the Jersey Shore Medical Center. Robert was born in Hoboken, NJ and resided in Old Bridge before moving to Monroe Twp. in 1978. Robert was a member of the Raritan Road Runner M.C., the Blackhawks and a regular patron at the Cambridge Inn. He proudly served in the Army Reserves, was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception RC Church and an avid New York Giants fan.

Robert is preceded in death by his loving wife Concetta Marie DePalma (2004). Robert is survived by four sons: Robert and his fiancée Angela of South River, Christopher and his wife Carolyn of Spotswood, Joel and his wife Mary of Baltimore, MD, Jeff and is wife Jennifer D.C. of East Windsor, three brothers: Ignacio and his wife Ellen of Toms River, Ronald and his wife Karen of Whiting, Anthony and his wife Miriam of Montclair, two sisters: Carol Cevoli of Whiting, Rochele Garbarine and her husband Jeff of Raleigh, NC, six grandchildren: Christopher Jr., Joseph, Mia, Caitlynn, Devon, Lola and his companion Lana Gritenas for the last several years. Also surviving are many extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will begin at 11:15am on Monday September 9, 2013 from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 12:00pm at Immaculate Conception RC Church - Spotswood. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, S. Brunswick. Visitation will be Saturday September 7th from 7-9 and Sunday September 8th from 2-4 & 7-9 at the funeral home. Please visit www.demarcofuneralhome.com for further information.
