Ronald M. "Big Ron" Ziemba

Ronald M. "Big Ron" Ziemba, 84 of Perth Amboy, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Health South, Toms River with his loving family by his side.

Ron was a lifelong resident of Perth Amboy. He graduated from St. Mary High School, Perth Amboy. He severed his country in the United States Navy. He was employed by P S E & G, Elizabeth for over 35 years as a Linesman and a Dispatcher. He retired in 1988. He was a parishioner of the Good Shepherd Parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, a member of the Holy Spirit Seniors, Knights of Columbus, San Salvador # 299, Perth Amboy, he coached baseball for many years at the Perth Amboy Little League and was an avid sports fan, especially a Dallas Cowboys fan.

He is preceded in death by his adored son Rodney Ziemba, who passed away in 1998; loving son of Walter and Barbara Ziemba and his cherished brother Raymond Ziemba.

Ron is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years Dolores "Dee" ( nee Petrick ); beloved father of Russell and his wife Deborah Ziemba; dear sister ~ in ~ law of Dorothy Ziemba; cherished grandfather of Brittany Ziemba and her fiancée Rory Wagner.

We begin to leave on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 9:15 am from the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy for a funeral mass at 10 am at the Good Shepherd Parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Woodbridge. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery. Visiting is on Wednesday from 4 ~ 8 pm.
