Rosemary Scannicchio Obituary
AGE: 75 • former Somerville/Hillsborough Resident
Rosemary (Oller) Scannicchio, 75, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Holiday Care Center in Toms River. Born in Somerville, daughter of the late James and Rose (Bartuk) Oller, she resided in Hillsborough for over twenty-five years, then moving to Bedminister before settling to Manchester in 2008. Rosemary retired after ten years of dedicated employment at the Somerville Courthouse where she was a clerk. She was a parishioner of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Manville and member of the Post Card Club in Piscataway. Rosemary loved dancing, playing cards, vacationing internationally, and her greatest pride was spending time making cherished memories with her grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Rosemary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Scannicchio in 1993 and dear brother, James Oller. Rosemary leaves behind her loving children, Sandy Toth of Hillsborough, Robert Scannicchio of Orlando, FL and Thomas Scannicchio and his wife Kristen Petersen of Toms River. She will be deeply missed by her adored grandchildren, Robert Toth and Matthew and Michael Scannicchio.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Sunday, July 28 from 2-5 p.m. and on Monday, July 29 from 8-8:30 a.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 29 beginning 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Manville. Committal words and mausoleum entombment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater. Memorial contributions may be made in Rosemary's name to the Alzheimer's & Dementia Association, Greater New Jersey Chapter, 400 Morris Avenue Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.
