RUBY HOLMES MACKAY
AGE: 91
FORMERLY OF OLD BRIDGE
Ruby Holmes Mackay, 91, of Penn Hills, Pa., died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010. She dedicated her life to helping people in her community. She served as member and president of PTA, member over 40 years and secretary of the Old Bridge United Methodist Church, and manager of the Old Bridge Hospital Gift Shop. She was a loving wife, caring and devoted mother, doting grandmother and compassionate person. She will be very much missed.
She was the beloved wife of the late John Russell Mackay; dear mother of Laura M. Liebmann of Monroeville, Pa., and John R. Mackay Jr. of Howell; devoted grandmother of Ashley Stack of Annacortes, Wash., Tyler Liebmann of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Kelsey Mackay of Howell; sister of the late Elsie Fischer and Minerva Holmes. Also survived by her beloved niece, Elsie Fischer Mulvihill of Juno Beach, Fla. and Henry Fischer Jr. of New Jersey.
There will be a private viewing for the family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Popcorn Park Zoo, Humane Way at Lacey Road, P.O. Box 43, Forked River, NJ 08731. Arrangements entrusted to Rapp Funeral Home, Penn Hills, Pa.
