Sandra Zajac Obituary
She is predeceased by her parents Andrew and Mary, her husband James, her sister JoAnn "Dolly" Harvey and her brother-in-law William Peters. Surviving are her children and their spouses, Wayne and Sherry of NC and Marianne and Frank Labombarda of FL, her grandsons and their spouses, Stephen and Michelle Zajac, Trevor and Kayla Zajac, Tyler Zajac, Vincent Labombarda and Michael Labombarda, her great granddaughters, Gracelyn, Sara Beth and Amy Zajac, her sisters and their spouses, Andrea Cann of FL, Mary Lou Peters of NJ, and Roseann and Joseph Marino of NM, her partner Andrew Schmidt and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday 8:30am from the Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Ave, South River with a 9am funeral Mass at St Mary of Ostrabrama RC Church in South River. Burial will follow at St Mary's Cemetery in East Brunswick.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 2pm to 6pm.
Memorial donations may be made in Sandra's name to Grace Healthcare Services, 105 Fieldcrest Ave, Edison, NJ 08837. Letters of condolence, directions and completed funeral arrangements can be found at www.maliszewskifuneralhome.com.

Sandy I want the world to know what a beautiful, personable and dedicated person you were and just how much it meant to me to have you as a best friend for over 62 years! I have so many memories of us...
After your wedding we always stayed very close. So close that when I got married, you loaned me your gown which fit me as perfect as it fit you. Together we were always. Your personality and friendship was supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! I will truly miss you with all my heart and I thank God for all my memories.
Remember in 2007 we vacationed in Palm Island, S.C. By we, I am referring to Joan (Zwonetschek), Janet (Young), Marilyn (Eckler), Susan (Bryson), you and me. What a ball we had living together in a spectacular house on the beach. We each had a bedroom. Janet, you and I slept downstairs, Marilyn had a bedroom on the main floor and Joan decided to take the bedroom on the third floor. After talking with George, I would go to your room and we would talk till early hours in the morning, then finally I would retire to my Bedroom to sleep.
My deepest sympathy to your son Wayne and his family, to your daughter, Marianne and her family,
to your wonderful sisters and their families, Andrea, Marylou, and Rosanne, to Dolly's family and to your significant other, Andy Schmidt.
You are now in the hands of Our Lord. Thy God and you have everlasting life. You are and were loved by many, including me and you will be and are missed by all.

Sandy was a great gal, she always had a smile and happy greeting. She also had a bit of an imp in her! We always had plenty of laughs, remembering the trip to New York City for New Year's Eve! About 10 of us in Fred Dawson's caddy.
