Sarah Dispenza Obituary
Hazlet - Sarah C. Dispenza, fondly known as "Sally", 84, of Hazlet, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel. She was born Sarah C. Fraser on July 2, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY, where she grew up. After marriage, Sally and her husband, Louis, settled in Hazlet in 1958 to raise their family. While living in Hazlet, Sally worked for the Holiday Inn for many years as part of their Hospitality Services, before retirement.
She was predeceased by her parents, Alexander and Catherine (Holmes) Fraser and her sister, Patricia Fraser. Sally is survived by her beloved and devoted husband, Louis J. Dispenza, and her loving children, Robert Dispenza and his wife, Mary Ellen, of Hazlet, Joyce Feirstein and her husband, Scott, of Hazlet, Jeffrey Dispenza of Hazlet, and Craig Dispenza and his wife, Diane, of Manalapan. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Robert Dispenza Jr., Jennifer Columbi, Lauren Werthwein, Brian, Kyle, and Lindsey Feirstein, Tracy and Timothy Tennis, along with her adored great grandchildren, Brian, Ava Marie, Gianna, Connor, and Nicholas. Sally will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, May 16th from 5 to 9 PM and Thursday, May 17th from 8:00 to 8:45 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Hwy/Rt 35 N, Hazlet. Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, May 17th at 9:30 AM at Holy Family R.C. Church, Union Beach. Interment, Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. To Lou and Family,
Today is both a sad day and a happy day. Sad because of the loss of Sally but happy because Sally has reached her final destination in life. She has gone home and has been united with Our Lord and Savior for Eternity . She will truly be missed and will always be remembered. May God give you strength, peace and comfort during this time and always. Sending you our sincere condolences to you and your family.
