Stanley Thomas Obituary
AGE: 58 • Asbury Park
Stanley Stewart Thomas, III, 58, of Asbury Park, passed away September 19, 2014 at Beth Israel Hospital in Newark. He was a Security Guard for many places. He was a faithful member of Good Hope Baptist Church.
Stanley leaves to cherish his memories his beloved wife of 14 years, Gwendolyn Thomas; 1 daughter, Karla L. (Mark) Johnson; 3 sisters, Brenda (Martinez) Hall, Marilynn Thomas, and Arnetta Lightfoot; 1 brother, Samuel (Marilyn) Thomas; 2 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be September 26 at 7 PM with a visitation at 5 PM at Good Hope Baptist Church, 1306 Washington Ave. in Asbury Park. Interment will be private. Jackson Funeral Home in Neptune has been entrusted with the arrangements.

To Gwen and family. I have a million great memories of Bear and how his friendship touched my life and many others. The voicemail he left me the night before he passed has been played 1000 times and will forever be with me. He was my brother and I am a better person having known him all these years. Growing up in the Gables was pretty special and a lot has to do with Stanley and the Thomas family. God called him home for a reason and we can't argue with that but we're all better off by having him in our lives. May God bless and keep you and if you need me I am here always.

To the family "Bear" was family to us also, when he graduated from N.H.S he moved on Sewall avenue in A.P.(David Mayhue lived there also)we were just becoming teenagers and he would tell every boy that came by the house for us that he was our father.
