Stanley Wierzbicki Obituary
AGE: 88 • East Brunswick
STANLEY WIERZBICKI died Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was 88.
Born in Kuchczyce, Poland, he resided in Africa for 7 years after WWII and then Leicester, England for 6, before moving to Bayonne, NJ in 1957. He later lived in Edison for 37 years before residing in East Brunswick for the last 2.
Prior to retiring in 1993, he was an assembler for General Motors, Linden, where he worked for 29 years.
Stanley was a communicant of St. Theresa RC Church, Linden, NJ. He was a member of the Semper Fidelis Union, a Polish organization.
Stanley was predeceased by his father Joseph and mother Maria, and brothers Edward and George and sister Leokadia. Surviving are brothers John, Frank and Joseph of Australia.
Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Kornelia Pastula Wierzbicki; 2 sons, John S. and his wife, Donna, of Kendall Park, and Robert E. and his wife, Ann, of East Brunswick; 4 grandchildren, Rob (Jackie), Jude (Claudia), Katie, and Gabrielle (William) Way; and a great grandchild, Ian Stanley.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 28th, 8:45 AM, at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bartholomew RC Church, East Brunswick. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Doylestown, PA.

Thank you for posting the obituary of Stanley Wierzbicki. We hadn't heard from him in some time, and
his phone number was not in service. He and my husband were best buddies at a Polish refugee camp in
England after WW2. They enjoyed reminiscing about those days especially the dances. My husband was
very moved on the news of his passing , and will miss those conversations. We extend our sincerest
sympathy to his wife and sons and their families.
