Stephen Yanko Obituary
AGE: 75 ? Manville
Stephen Yanko, 75, died Thursday February 9, 2011 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville, NJ. He was born in Swoyersville, Pa. the son of the late Stefan and Anna Yanko. He was a resident of Manville, NJ for the past 73 years. Mr. Yanko served his Country in the United States Navy. He had worked as a machinist at Johns Manville Research for a few years before becoming a machinist at the Ethicon Corporation in Bridgewater, NJ where he had worked for 35 years before retiring. He was loved and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He was predeceased by his sisters Anna Metzner and Margaret Yanko. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Dolores Yanko of Manville, NJ. sons Stephen Yanko, Jr. of Pascagoula, Mississippi, John Yanko and his wife Roberta of Manville, NJ, daughters Kathryn Tarby and her husband Dave of Manville, NJ and Linda Fasano of Manville, NJ, brother Joseph Yanko of Manville, NJ. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren Joseph and Amy Yanko, John and David Tarby, Nicole, Deveney and Zachary Yanko and Thomas and Nicholas Fasano. Also survived by 1 great granddaughter Andraya Serafin.
The viewing will be on Sunday February 13, 2011 from 6 to 9 PM at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd., Manville, NJ. (908)575-8512. The Funeral will be on Monday February 14, 2011 9:00 Am from the Ketusky Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough, NJ. For additional information please visit our website at www.ketusky.com.

I worked with Steve at Ethicon. He was an excellent machinist... and a real nice guy. It was my privilege to have him as a friend. My thoughts and prayers are with Steve's family and friends.
