Tamara Wilson-Seidle Obituary
AGE: 51 • Neptune
Tamara Maria Wilson-Seidle was a beautiful selfless woman who met God on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 51 years old. Tamara was born in Munich, Germany on Dec. 30, 1963. She often reminisced about attending kindergarten, milking cows, and wearing traditional dirndl dresses in Germany. Tamara moved with her family to Neptune, NJ in 1970. She attended Neptune High School where she was Homecoming Princess from 1979-1981 and Homecoming Queen in 1982. Tamara is survived by her siblings, Joe Wilson Jr. of Maryland, Heinz Osterholzer of Ohio, Eva Lutzenberger of Germany, and Sylvia Daly of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her 9 children, Kirsten 24, Philip 22, John 20, Christopher 19, Monica 17, Dorothy 15, Maria 12, Stephen 11, and Teresa 7. Tamara was very involved with Mother of Mercy Parish where she was the Coordinator of Religious Education for the past 17 years. She was also a lector, commentator, Eucharistic minister, and a Virtus: Protecting God's Children instructor for the parish. Tamara was a licensed soccer coach who was looking forward to starting her own team one day. She has spent countless hours volunteering for the Missionaries of Charity and the Saint Vincent de Paul Society. Tamara was a 5 year breast cancer survivor. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Church of Mother of Mercy/Seidle Family Fund at Mother of Mercy Parish, 1212 First Ave., Asbury Park, NJ 07712. Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Holy Spirit Church, 705 2nd Ave., Asbury Park. A mass will be celebrated 12 noon Monday, June 22, 2015 at Holy Spirit Church, Asbury Park. Internment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Neptune. Francioni, Taylor & Lopez Funeral Home, Neptune, is in charge of arrangements.

I will always remember Mrs. Seidle's smiling face as she would hurriedly rush from one teacher's class to another's during parent-teacher conference season. I would jokingly say to her, "Mrs. Seidle, you didn't put those maternity clothes away yet, " and with the biggest smile she'd say, "No, not yet. We're still growing the family." How proud she was of her children and how concerned she was with making sure that her children were doing what they needed to do in order to learn what was required. Mrs. Seidle was the type of parent who proved that when parent and teacher worked together...success would follow the child.
Rest in Peace, Mrs. Seidle and know that The God who you trained your children to believe and depend on, will continue to comfort and hold all nine of them in the palm of His hand.

but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Tammy was my childhood friend and we often shared stories about becoming moms. All that she was in our youth carried over into her adult life. She will always remain on of the sweetest, nicest, devoted and loyal people we all have had the pleasure to meet.
