THERESA K. (MURPHY) BINDER
AGE: 68
SOUTH PLAINFIELD
Theresa K. (Murphy) Binder, 68, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010, at RWJUH, New Brunswick. Born in Newark, she had resided in Rahway and settled to South Plainfield. Theresa had been employed by N.J. Bell and later for the South Plainfield School district as a teacher's assistant, retiring in 2001. She enjoyed spending time with her family at the Jersey Shore and trips to Atlantic City.
She is predeceased by her twin brother, Lawrence Murphy. Surviving are her husband, Herbert; son, Michael and his fiancé Lara; and three siblings and their families, Virginia Romano, Kathryn Sutton and Thomas Murphy.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 21 in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home For Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield. Funeral services are 9:15 a.m. Thursday, April 22 in the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, South Plainfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, or to the American Cancer Society. For more information visit www.mccriskinfuneralhome.com.
