Tomas Quiles Obituary
AGE: 58 • Perth Amboy
Tomas Quiles, 58 of Perth Amboy, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy with his family by his side. Tomas was born and raised in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico and came to Perth Amboy 42 years ago. He was employed by Perth Amboy Tire for 30 years and he retired on 2010. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church.
He is preceded in death by his loving father Tomas Quiles. He is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years to Emilda ( nee Martinez ); beloved father of Claribel, Emily and Kristine Quiles; loving son of Marciana ( nee Quiles); adored grandfather of Andrew Tomas and Briana Rambajan; dear brother of 14 brothers and sisters; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.
We begin to leave on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 9:15 am from the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy for a funeral mass at Our Lady of Fatima Church at 10 am. Burial will be at Alpine Cemetery. Visiting is on Tuesday from 5 ~ 9 pm.

Papa, it's been 84 hours since you've stopped suffering, I am so happy in my heart to have been there for you, to care for you, to support you, to laugh with you and most of all I am so glad these past 9 months I got to know you as an adult, I realized that so many of my ways I get from you.... It was a long, painful road that only me and mama, Emy and "Titi" shared with you daily, weekly, monthly until your last breath. I love you, and I vknow deep in my aching heart that you are in a better place, without suffering and pain.

My grandpa <3, To begin with,your the most sweetest thing on earth that i've seen.All threw summer was a roller coaster that barely had any tracks. I never really remembered you as a baby, but I have heard a lot of funny, sweet, and heart warming moments from you. We have always had some of our fun memories in the car; when you heard that Spanish song in the car and you started playing an imaginary ukulele and when you always wanted that brown blanket waiting for therapy. :) Anyways, I knew that last time I held your hand was a moment to cherish, because for me it felt like I was a tree and you were a leaf, and you were falling off slowly...love ya!
