Victor Joseph Payvis

AGE: 69 • Middlesex Resident

Victor Joseph Payvis, known to many as Joe, entered into life on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at his residence with his loving family by his side. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, Joe was a 1963 graduate of Middlesex High and spent most of his life in the borough. He retired as a machinist and painter. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and had a love for cats, especially for his beloved Muffy, Felix and Inky.

Predeceased by his father Victor Joseph Payvis, Joe is survived by his loving family; mother Anna Mae (Kester) Kuell, sister Rose Ann Cogan and her husband Ronald of Manville, brother Gerard Payvis and his wife Christine of Murfreesboro, TN, niece Andrea Cahill, nephews Paul Caggiano and his wife Veronica, and Michael Caggiano and his wife Kimmie, and by his great-nephew Paulie.

Visitation will take place in the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 2-5 pm with a religious service beginning 4:45pm. At the request of the family, cremation will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, donations sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101 would be appreciated.
