I was in NJ on August 27, 2009 visiting Sacred Heart Cemetery in Sayreville where my Dad, Andrew E. Nebus is buried. I was shocked to see that Father Vince's death date, 2009, had been filled in on his tombstone. Father Vincent, my Cousin, officiated at my Father's funeral service in 1995. Many thoughts and prayers are with the family. Peace be with you.

My dad (his yougest brother) and mom have been helping clean out his house in Florida for the last few weeks. We always knew what a loving brother and uncle he was but it was amazing to see how many other lives he touched as well. We uncovered 50+ years of his generosity to the church communities he served. All of his things were donated and placed in the hands of who they were meant for. What an amazing man, brother, and uncle. I love you and will miss you.

I am Judy Martinez Skalla (Ceal Pawlowski's daughter). Father Vince married my husband and I in South River, July 5, 1975. We received a Christmas card from him from that year on. My thoughts and prayers are with the Nebus family and Father Vince. May he receive the rewards that he surely deserves.

Fr. Vincent was a "special person" to us, especially Lois, as he always wanted a hug from her when meeting outside church. We will miss him and his jolly, cheerful attitude toward all. Sorry to miss his celebration of life services, as we are out of state in Minnesota. May we(friends and family)all be consoled to know that this wonderful man is at peace with his heavenly father.

Our deepest sympathy in the loss of Father Vince. He was a beautiful priest and a wonderful person. We always looked forward to meeting with Father at some Church function in the area. We always had a pleasant visit when Father came to 40-Hours in Sayreville. May he rest in peace. God Bless You All.

We knew Father Vincent when he was Pastor of St. Lawrence Church in Laurence Harbor, NJ. We had many wonderful years with Father Vince as our Pastor. He was the celebrant at my daughter's wedding, and baptized one of my grandsons. He has always been greatly missed when he moved to Florida, and he is in the prayers of the entire Delaney Family. We will keep him in our prayers and the entire Nebus Family.
