Virginia Fauquier Obituary
AGE: 94 • Edison
Virginia Valli Fauquier passed away on Thursday November 23, 2017 at N. J. Eastern Star Home, Bridgewater surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Wellfleet, MA and resided in North Carolina before moving to Edison in 1947. Virginia proudly served our country as a WAVE in the Navy during WW II. She was a school secretary for the Edison Board of Education for 26 years retiring in 1993. She enjoyed reading and music but most importantly spending time with her family, especially summers on Cape Cod.
Virginia was predeceased by her parents Ansel and Sarah Valli, and her sisters, Lois Atwood and Althea Stetson and brother, Edward Maker. Surviving is her husband Theodore Fauquier whom she was married to for more than70 years. Also surviving are her sons David and his wife, Vanessa, Gene and his wife, Donna, and Kenneth and his wife, Carol, her grandchildren Jamie, Lori, Nicole, and Jason and their spouses, great grandchildren Ross, Cali, Evan, Molly, Max and Sadie and her brothers Charles, Gene and Sherb Valli and her sisters Lucille Baker, Barbara Souther and Marilyn Dyer.
Visitation will be Saturday November 25, 2017 from 3:00PM to 7:00PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Road Edison. Prayer service will be held immediately following visitation at 7:00PM on Saturday November 25, 2017 at the funeral home. Cremation is private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made, in her loving memory, to a charity of your choice.
