Hard to believe it's 13 years since Walt's passing. Still miss seeing him working on one of his houses and our motorcycle rides together.

It was with great sorrow I learned of Walt's passing. He was a good man and a good friend. Over the 35 years I knew him I couldn't have asked for a better neighbor or friend. You didn't have to ask for his help, he was always there ready, willing and able.
We will miss him and pray that he rest in peace and love in the hands of the Lord.
With deepest sorrow and love,
Bob and Barbara Maher

One of Walter's favorite lines in the NJ Masonic Installation Service was from the part about "The Compasses, which teach us to limit our desires in every station, that rising to eminence by merit, we live respected and die regretted." Walter practiced this, and we do regret not having him around anymore.

Walter was one of those rare individuals that was always there with a word or a helping hand, no task to small or big.
Hail and Fairwell.
