Wendell Lowe

Manahawkin - Wendell E. Lowe, 84, of Manahawkin died on Friday December 14, 2018 at home. Born in Brooklyn, New York he lived in South Amboy before moving to Manahawkin 20 years ago. He was an electrician a member of IBEW Local 3, New York. A veteran of the U.S. Navy he was a member of the Old Bridge VFW Post 7508 and the American Legion.

Son of the late Wendell and Fay Lowe he is survived by his wife Bernadine Zajewski Lowe; his stepchildren Charlene Walters and her husband Mike Meyers of Elgin, Illinois and Buddy Walters and his wife Diana of Rumson; his brother Stanley Lowe and his wife Margaret of Harrington Park; his sister Iris Boyce of Connecticut and his grandchildren Abigail and Charlie Walters and Michael, Cecilia and Claudia Desko.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 18, 2018 at 10am at The Gundrum Service "Home For Funerals" 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by interment in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. Visitation will be on Monday from 4 to 7pm.
