WILLIAM J. CHUNG
AGE: 73 MONROE
William J. Chung, 73, of Monroe Twp. died Monday, Sept. 28, 2009, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge Division. Bill was a chemical engineer for Elf Atochem, retiring in 2000. He was a Grandmaster of Shaolin Kung-Fu with students in Florida and New Jersey. He was a Knight, Past Master of St. Stephen's Masonic Lodge, and Past Sovereign Master of Allied Masonic Degrees. He was also a member of the Shriners. He served in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1960. Bill was active in the Chinese community with the Hip Sing and Hung Muen organizations, serving as president and also counselor and consultant for the National Lodges.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; his son, Philip; his grandchildren, Christian, Nicole, and Alexander Chung; and his sisters, Betty Jung and Helen Leung.
Funeral services will be held at 8:45 a.m. today, Oct. 3 in The Brunswick Memorial Home, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery, (adjacent to Spotswood Reformed Church). Memorial contributions may be made to either Immaculate Conception Church, 18 South St., Spotswood, NJ 08884, or Spotswood Reformed Church, 429 Main St., Spotswood, NJ 08884. My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead. May your memories of your many years together bring you comfort.

No bond is as great as that between father and son. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.
