GARY WARREN Obituary

GARY WARREN Gary Lee Warren, 77, of Smithville, Missouri, passed away on October 9, 2024. Born on April 7, 1947, in Joplin, Missouri, Gary was the cherished son of William and Dorothy Warren. He graduated from Warrensburg High School and furthered his education at the University of Central Missouri, where he earned a degree in business administration. In service to his country, Gary proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1971. On February 6, 1971, he married Judy Brown, and together they built a loving family, welcoming two daughters, Amy (Scott) Grimm and Crystal (Eric) Easter. Gary was a devoted grandfather to three grandchildren: Addi (17), Lexi (15), and Logan (9), who brought him immense joy. Gary had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying fishing and deer hunting. He was a dedicated fan of both the Kansas City Chiefs and the Royals. In his spare time, he loved to collect antiques and hunt for arrowheads,treasures that reflected his appreciation for history and nature. A Celebration of Life will be held on October 20, 2024, from 1 to 3 PM at the Smithville Senior Center, located at 113 E Main Street. A light lunch featuring Gary's favorites will be served.
