CLIFTON — Joyce Marie (Might) McDaniel Gleason, 73, of Clifton, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021, at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio, following a brief illness.
She was born December 15, 1947, in Middleport, Ohio, a daughter of Evelyn (Sigler) Might and the late Clifford Might. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Angelo McDaniel; second husband, Rich Gleason; son, Randy McDaniel and one sister, Ellen Johnson.
Joyce was a 1965 graduate of Rutland High School and a member of Faith Baptist Church in Mason. She enjoyed sewing, working jig saw puzzles, taking walks, and caring for her mother.
Survivors include her son, Michael McDaniel, and his wife Shirley of New Haven; brother, Clarence Might and his wife, Jessie of Middleport; grandchildren, Amanda McDaniel, Steven McDaniel, Kelsey McDaniel, Tanner McDaniel and three great grandchildren, Brycian Reynolds, Brody Reynolds and Kenzily Reynolds.
Service will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Foglesong Funeral Home, Mason, with Pastor Josh Waybright officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Cheshire, Ohio. Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
