I didn't know Kane but some family members.
It certainly sounds like he was a special young man (WSAZ did a nice report/video of him). I am sorry over your loss and may the Lord bring peace as you look to Him for comfort and strength.

My deepest sympathies to the family. I only met Kane once when he came to visit us out in the Chicago area with my nephew, Austin Cole. He seemed like a great person and a great brother to Austin. I cannot imagine your sorrow. May God comfort you and help you through this sorrow.

Bobby and I want to send our sympathy, condolences, prayers and love to Kevin and Paula, Corey and Austin as well as his aunts, uncles and cousins. We knew Kane as being Wahama fans and friends of his family through the years. Kane was a wonderful young man, dedicated to his goal of being a great athlete, and student at Wahama. He inspired his fans with great plays and giving his all to his teammates and coaches. He never gave up on anything he attempted. His smile was contageous and he had a smile for everyone he met. Our community and Wahama High School were blessed having him as one of us. His memory will always live in our hearts and minds forever. My prayers are also extended to Mr. Cromley, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Cullen and all of the members of the Wahama State Championship Football Team. The young men on that team were truly a brotherhood and I know their hearts are heavy learning of Kane's passing. Everyone who knew Kane and his family are devastated at this time of grief and sorrow. May God be with them now and give them the peace that surpasses all understanding in the days to come. Heaven has gained a smilling angel and I am sure that Kane is looking down on us from a far better place than this earth today.

I followed Wahama football during the years Kane played. I probably saw every game, both home and away. Kane was a real competitor and a joy to watch! May God grant you comfort and strength during this difficult time.
