POINT PLEASANT — Ruby "Granny" Pendleton, 88, of Point Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018 at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio.
She was born on Aug. 19, 1929, in Chapmanville, a daughter of the late Dillard Williamson and Louisia (Napier) Williamson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Maxine Deskins and Mary Adkins; two brothers: Kyle Williamson and Paul Williamson; and a grandson, Joshua McCoy.
Ruby is survived by her husband, Maurice Pendleton Jr. of Point Pleasant; three daughters: Karen Rayburn of Point Pleasant, Sandra (Ivan) Pierson of Leon and Barbara Edwards of Gallipolis Ferry; two grandchildren: April Rayburn (Charles) Roach of Gallipolis, Ohio and Chad Edwards of Gallipolis Ferry; and great-grandchildren: Tristan and Courtney Roach and Aden McCoy. She is also survived by one sister, Macey (Jimmy) Cline of Dayton, Ohio; and two brothers: Leslie Williamson and Buddy Williamson.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant. A private graveside service and burial will be Monday, Feb. 26, 2018 with Reverend Jim Kelly officiating.
