Clifton Stafford Obituary

Clifton Lee Stafford Sr. 80 of Millington, MD died at home on October 12, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Mr. Stafford was a lifetime resident of Millington, born on the farm on January 7, 1945, son of the late Floyd R. Sr. and Grace Pearson Stafford. He was employed by Globe Battery Plant in Middletown for 38 years, retiring in 2007. Cliff enjoyed the outdoors. Along with deer and goose hunting, he loved caring for his yard and spending quality time with his family, especially the card games.

Mr. Stafford is preceded in death by his son Clifton L. Stafford Jr. in July of 2023 and siblings Floyd Stafford Jr., Josephine Wendig and Virginia Smith.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Bonnie Lord Stafford, his daughter Pamela Voshell and her husband Danny of Crumpton, daughter in law Lynn Stafford of Crumpton, sisters Debbie King of Millington and Sue Bratton of Clayton, DE., his grandchildren Lyndsey Blackiston, Ashley Stafford, William L. Voshell and Shania Wolfe and great granddaughter Alaynah Stafford.
